Bible Characters is a website designed to help you learn about the people in the Bible in a fun and easy way. We provide summarized information, fun facts, quizzes, and Bible references for each character to make biblical learning accessible to everyone.

We value authenticity and supporting artists. All information and voice-over narrations provided on Bible Characters are hand-written, fact-checked, and recorded by us. A significant amount of the illustrations are either drawn by us or sourced from artists on various license platforms.

However, some of the illustrations are AI-generated through the license platforms, as there aren't enough christian illustrations in the stock platforms. We have tried to use artist made illustrations as much as possible. This is simply a budget limitation.

All AI-generated images are marked with "AI" in the bottom right corner.

We are happy to implement illustrations by the community that are not AI, so if you want to contribute, please contact us.

Some pages do describe difficult parts of biblical stories directly, including sin, conflict, violence, death, suffering, and serious choices. We try to keep the explanations educational and avoid unnecessary graphic detail, but parents, guardians, and teachers may want to guide younger or more sensitive readers through some pages.

You can search for specific characters, browse the character list, or explore the family tree to see relationships between biblical figures. Each character page includes a summary, fun facts, quizzes, and Bible references.

If you want to learn more about a character or event, you can find the relevant Bible passages listed at the bottom of each character page.

We recommend starting with some of the most significant biblical figures like Jesus, Adam, God, or Moses. These characters play central roles in biblical history and will give you a good foundation for understanding other characters.

Yes — we plan to keep adding characters over time. At our current pace it may take a while; securing more resources would let us grow the project faster. If you have suggestions for specific characters you'd like to see, please feel free to contact us.
